Membership
Membership to the club costs £18 a year, and this money helps us to fund Coaching courses, stocking kits, arranging Christmas parties/events and helping the students achieve the highest grades possible. Without this the club would struggle to keep evolving and provide up to date tuition.
The membership year is March-March, but if you join after March the fee is calculated at £1.50 a month. This fee is in addition to the "mat fee's" that are payable to the Leisure Centre at the beginning of each session. This is currently £3.60 per session.
After 4 weeks of training with us, you will be required to purchase a licence from the British Judo Association. This licence ensures that you are insured in case of an emergency, but also allows you to attend gradings (held at the club every 3 months) and also to compete at competitions.
